The Related Group’s Auberge Residences, planned for the 1400 block of Biscayne Boulevard, has unveiled its first big batch of renderings to real estate agents, who have waisted no time in sharing them with all their friends/ clients/ impressionable fellow agents on Facebook. According to those agents the project will launch sales in about two weeks, and contains a collection of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units in one 328 unit, 60-story tower.

According to those agents (hat tip to The Next Miami) the project will launch sales in about two weeks, and contains a collection of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units in one 328 unit, 60-story tower.
This makes it significantly smaller than the giant three tower, 1,000+ unit triumvirate that Auberge was originally planned to be. Related may be staggering the release of the towers, or more likely responding to softening market conditions and waiting to release or not release those other towers when they see the demand. Related’s CEO, Jorge Perez, has gone on the record saying that “Miami construction may be getting ahead of demand” to Bloomberg, no less. So, that wouldn’t be a surprise. They more than likely will set aside the tower footprints, saving them for later.
The remaining Auberge tower has been designed by Arquitectonica (as were the other two), and will have interiors by Piero Lissoni. The project will have a collection of public art, hotel-like amenities (like maid service), a concierge, a spa, and a high-end restaurant. A 40-foot tall sculpture, ‘Awilda’ by Jaume Plesna, will “soon be installed” (per The Next Miami) at the corner of 40th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, having been relocated from Millennium Park in Chicago, and will serve as the signature of the project, right by its entrance.
