According to the DBR, Akerman will move into their offices over the next couple weeks. The ground floor lobby will have an Akerman desk, and Akerman’s name will be on the buildings’ roof.
The Akerman offices will have floor-to-ceiling windows, a coffee bar on every floor, war rooms, a cafe and a 300-seat conference room. “The office incorporates many features of the contemporary law firm design including smaller attorney offices, muted tones on paneling and floors, light wood and more natural light. Akerman will reframe its art to match the new interior” said the DBR. Finally. in an egalitarian gesture, every attorney’s office will actually be the same size, from associates up to chairman and CEO.
