Elysee Begins Contract Conversions, Preparing for Site Work

Crews are also preparing to demolish an existing building on the site to make way for the 57 story waterfront condominium tower.

Elysee, a luxury condominium tower coming to Edgewater that has the unusual characteristic of being wider at the top than the bottom, has officially begun converting its reservations to contracts, according to a representative. Crews are also preparing to demolish an existing building on the site to make way for the 57 story waterfront condominium tower. The design by Arquitectonica, which looks like a retractable telescope standing on its narrow end, has been (naturally) called ‘Telescopic,’ and ‘Top heavy.’ The interiors, by Jean-Louis Deniot, are as French as the name of the building itself. The contract conversions and site work may both be signs that the developers of Elysee, Two Roads Development, must be receiving solid (or solid enough) sales that they are confident enough to move forward despite the faltering South Florida real estate market.
